Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The Colorado TB Program provides guidance, resources, and education to assist our Local Public Health Agency (LPHAs) partners and providers with timely diagnosis of persons with TB disease, isolation of potential infectious persons, and initiating appropriate treatment as soon as possible.
